Series I contains memoranda, correspondence, and minutes of committees in the College of Agriculture and in the College of Home Economics; Series II contains correspondence, reports and minutes involving organizations of which Margaret McGregor Hard was an active member. Hard served as head of the Research Center from the early 1950's. Common types of material in Series III are correspondence, statistical analysis and manuscripts. Series IV contains correspondence, minutes, inventories, reports, and lecture notes relating to Dr. Nettie Esselbaugh's involvement in various committees.
